hello there old friend...

listening to: the dull hum of the aircon
feeling: freaking cold!!!

yes,

i am aware that there is an almost two-month long gap between my posts.

no,

i did not drop off the face of the earth.

maybe,

i decided to take a break from the world, the routine, the endless monotony of the daily grind...

in short,

i went on hiatus and tried to rediscover myself.

take note: the key word is "rediscover" NOT "find."

it was a long, tiring process, often involving bottomless pitchers of frozen margaritas, too many late nights and catching plane rides in the wee hours of the morning...

but it's been amazing. not only have i finally figured out what my life is all about, but i've finally started moving to where i'm supposed to be.

it feels really great. having some sense of balance - knowing that i'm on the road to redemption.

there is so much going on in my life that i've hardly had time to pause and take everything in. but i am so thankful... thankful for my friends, both old and dear and those newly discovered. hehehe.

it's been a blast and i have never been happier to be alive.
