i am bitter
the taste and feel of you is acid in my mouth

can i, spit out
what i have willingly swallowed?

rich and full-bodied
with a flavor guaranteed to intoxicate

my senses, like wildfire, you seep
into bones, blood and heart

leaving nothing
taking everything

we all bleed dry.
